As inventors are to deposit patents, or an individual is to deposit a celestial object discovery, a company that invested millions based on patents to be released on market with millions budgeted on advertisements and communications, I wonder ..... If I do some steps to move toward a direction with my ideas and my background, would I create a conflic of interest with what I am telling in the forum ?
Would PERMANENT's projects be subjected to the above issue?

I could be wrong. Sam or Mark might be able to clear it up. However, I do think that the only things PERMANENT has any rights over. Would be the PERMANENT name.
Now for a scenario:
You want PERMANENT to succeed because it is the last best hope for mankind ;) You come up with some cool gadget or two. Patent them under your own name. Then sign a lease with PERMANENT so PERMANENT would be able to use your gadget. PERMANENT then pays you royalties. Win win.
But if it is a kick-ass idea. I would patent the idea first before presenting it.

I am not wealthy, and my only hope is to share my imaganition with you folks to make it happend.
I consider that retributions comes out not from idea but by contributing to bring the idea to its birth in the reality. The wealthy, I am sure will appreciate.
