Once your project has kicked off, get someone to do a jingle, voiceover, slogan etc. for just five bucks:

(Endless possibilities when your funds are not!)

I see there is a place on the website where people can donate now. That's great! Is this new?

Also, I'm wondering if PERMANENT has a Facebook page. If not I could make one today and add you as an administrator, Sam. Then invite members of the forum to join.

I've done a few advertising campaigns on Facebook as well. The targeting options are great - you can specify age, interests, etc. That's what Facebook is basically: an advertising platform. I could create an ad and link it to the PERMANENT site. Be happy to fund it myself.

Let me know if this is something you would like to do.

Mark created the webpage and I created the donation buttons last year. Maybe it should be better promoted on the website.

Some help with a Facebook page would be really welcome. I tried to create a "Group" page under my own Facebook profile but couldn't get working properly. Let's talk about this some more via e-mail.

The campaign to buy Detroit a Robocop statue, seemingly halted last week by Mayor Dave Bing’s lack of enthusiasm for the idea, has finally prevailed, thanks to modern society’s greatest force: the benevolence of Internet strangers.

Robocop’s supporters created a page on the fundraising site Kickstarter, with a goal of $50,000 dollars. They’ve now surpassed that amount, thanks in large part to a $25,000 contribution from businessman Pete Hottelet at Omni Consumer Products.

What would we spend fifty grand on if we had it? Serious question.
