An comparison of small lift launch systems can be found here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_small_lift_launch_systems).
Medium launch systems here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_medium_lift_launch_systems).
Mid-Heavy launch systems here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_mid-heavy_lift_launch_systems).
Heavy launch systems here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_heavy_lift_launch_systems).
And super-heavy can be found here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_super_heavy_lift_launch_systems).
Sadly many do not have an cost/kg ratio. So when it comes time for launch we have quite a selection of launchers to choose from. Naturally we want to get the most bang for our buck, with greatest chance of success ;)
