I remember reading somewhere that nanotechnology is easier to develop in microgravity and vacuum. Is this true?

I hope this is the case. I am greatly interested in nanites and their uses in healthcare.

Non-invasive plaque cleaning of blood-vessels. Hunting down of cancer cells.

Later generation nanites allowing rejuvenation of the body. Nanites are given an image of a perfect cell or immortal cell. Nanites carry the building blocks of cells to locations under treatment. Cell by cell the human body is brought back to a state around 25-30 years of age.

So life extenders, immortal cell research, retro-virii, and nanites are huge areas I would like to research in the sterility of Luna. With life-extenders, retro-virii, and nanites, we could extend human life to thousands of years.

The only issue I see of life that long are memories, and memory pathways. If you do not use it you will loose it. Without your memories, who are you really?

Sorry for using your thread for that exposition. I was not really on topic even :P
